I have never owned one before and i have to say that at just 12 wks old he is the most laid back chilled out puppy. Ive only had him for two weeks and he is housetrained, he knows whats his and what isnt in the house, when i go to the front door he will sit at the hallway doorway and not follow me to the frontdoor, the first night i put him in his crate in the kitchen he cried for half an hour and thats been it! Now he just goes in and lays down. He is clean in his crate.

He comes up to bed in the afternoon with me for a nap, he did fall off the bed once lol

Im gobsmacked at how easy he is to train! He is amazing!!

The only thing is a dominance issue we have with our other puppy, a Border Terrier, which im sure will be sorted soon.

Im so glad i got a Frenchie!! :D

Are you sure you have a Frenchie. Lol. Mine is not laid back. Still not fully trained. But I love him to pieces.

It sounds like Dave is a perfect puppy! My Buster is also! I just  these little guys!

Hahhaa this made me laugh out loud. Seems you and I got a different kind of Frenchie puppy!!

Lucky you, I am jealous! Dave sounds wonderful!

Mine is quite the opposite of laid back as well!!!! Maybe he'll calm down one day! Haha

So happy your baby is laid back Henri who is 16 weeks old now is pretty laid back also, but he is starting to go into the terrible twos if you will. he has his spurts of getting into mischief, and then he is quiet for a little while. All in all he is a good boy and a pure joy to have.

LOL... this is more is what I have too! 2 years to full train and is a Tazmianian Devil running around the house and yard

He is so funny the way he runs around the garden, he tucks his bum in and darts around, he looks like a rabbit because of his big ears. He's cheeky to because he will throw himself off the grass into the borders and he knows he's not allowed to go on them.
