Is that a Pug?

You have no idea how many strangers will comment on Uma's lack of tail and complain to me that I got it cropped too close. She has one vertebrae in her tail, it's really just about 10 pieces of fur. As cute as it is to me I get very annoyed when I'm scolded for doing something I did not do. :facepalm:

Yeah Hudson has a little Pom Pom basically (there's no length at all away from his body) and this lady just couldn't believe what a horrible person I was. Lol.

Rootbeer has been called a Pug or Boston on many occasions. Boston, ok. but Pug? When have you seen a pied Pug?!

I want to hug every person that walks up to us and is correct about her breed! At work a couple weeks ago, one guy practically ran up to us and asked, "does she do the noise?!" Whenever I tell someone how much I appreciate them being able to recognize a French Bulldog, they're always just as blown away that apparently no one else can tell the difference. Such a funny thing!

I hear you; my heart sings when someone recognizes Bambi for what she is.

Another good one, "Is she growling?" Does she look vicious!?

This weekend at a dog park for a frenchie meet up, someone asked me if she was a full bred French Bulldog. Maybe because she's little? It still amazes me all the shapes, colors and sizes when you get a group of frenchies together. And none of them look like pugs!!! lol

I found one where I live by going into the meetup website. I live in San Diego and there are actually a couple here to choose from.

I googled meet up groups in my area and found a frenchie meet up. I joined the group, get notifications by email about upcoming events and have gone to 3 of them now. It's been a lot of fun and I have met lots of new frenchie owners. At the meet up this weekend, Tallulah was recruited to model in a doggie fashion show at the end of June by a women who has her own dog clothes line. How much fun, lol

Thanks, anns4boys! I never in a million years would have known about this. Just tried to join but I need to upload a picture of myself. Will have to have my sister take a picture of me on her tablet and hook me up. I can't wait to join!

P.S. Do you make the necklaces for Tallulah or purchase them? They are so cute! I would like to get a few necklaces for Bambi.

My frenchie is too new to be called anything by anyone yet, but I have been asked if my pug is a baby pit bull! Also, some people seem just plain confused by her. I chalk it up to the fact that black pugs are less common.

Our sitting president has a Boston and he is often photographed or attending events with him. So, most I hear is people approaching Moses and asking if this one is the same as what our president have When I say, no, this one is a French Bulldog and the president has a Boston Terrier, many stays and argues with me No, I'm sure it is a Boston coz the president has one and it looks exactly like that ugh, like I don't know what kind of dog I have

Because of his coloring Radar has been called a Boxer many, many times. Someone thought he was a miniature Boxer, which just doesn't exist... Same smile and gentle correction.
