Making friends at the beach

It was such nice weather over the week end so we took the dogs to the beach and they had so much fun! The little white dog was kind of bugging Jake though because he kept nipping his back and barking. He definitely preferred the lab. He loves big dogs because I think he thinks he one too! Stella just wants to play fetch. She is very anti social.

LOVE the pics!! Jake was very kind to the annoying dog. Wally would have let him have it. Stella is a lot like Uma, loves people but meh with dogs.

Brilliant pictures! I can see in the 4th pic the white dog looks like it was going for Jake's back. Irritating..... Oh how I would love a warm day at the beach!

Jake wanted to play with the lab so bad and the lab was just interested in playing fetch. Jake enjoyed chasing him nonetheless.

Ya honestly I was a little annoyed too. Jake is so tolerant. So funny how some dogs are more interested in people than dogs like Stella and Uma.

The white dog was relentless and needless to say I was relieved when they left before us.

He loves playing chase. When another dog approaches from off in the distance he crouches to the ground and "stalks" them waiting for the chase to begin!
So there are no dog parks where you can let them off lead?

Here we are allowed to let them off leash only at our own yards. In the neighbouring city there are couple of "dog parks", but they are like 20mx20m small fenced patches...not really what I could call as park. I have seen in this forum so many nice photos of Frenchie meet-ups in actual big parks! You guys are so lucky!
