Hi everyone,
My little man went for his neuter, soft palette surgery yesterday. All went well, and Louie is home now.
While he was under anesthetic the surgeon also removed everted laryngeal saccules and noted he had mild laryngeal collapse and asymmetry of the the arytenoid cartilages. This is the part that scared the crap out of me! Has anyone had this diagnoses with their frenchy? If so, how did the condition progress? Also considering the larynx is made of collagen, would it be beneficial to supplement with collagen building supplements to possibly stop the progression of this?
Thanks for any insight.
