Calvin is almost 6 months old and has been on Natural Balance Lamb & Brown Rice formula for about 3 months. The breeder was feeding him Health Extention Lamb & Brown Rice which is not sold near us so we switched him over to Natural Balance and he seemed to be doing fine on it. The past couple weeks he's been showing signs of allergies (licking his inner thigh and little red bumps on his belly that seem to come and go) and I'm just wondering if its food related. He has a vet appt soon to get fixed so I will talk to the vet about it then but was just wondering if anyone else has had good/bad experiences with this food

Radar was on Natural Balance LTD for a couple of years with no reaction, I would mix up the protein after each bag was done. I did have to find something new though. He went on a food strike and now refuses to touch it. He now gets The Honest Kitchen, even though it grosses me out, and loves it.

could be food, but environmental is always a possibility too --- how is his face and paws?

You can try a grain free food. Dogfoodadvisor.com is a great website that has a list of dog foods and it gives them a rating as well.

His face and paws are fine. I've read a lot online about frenchies having allergies to cat dander?? I'm hoping that's not the case since I have 2 cats :/

Go grain free ... grains tend to be an issue for many .

My bulldog is allergic to almost everything green... grass, pine trees, weeds, dandelions, etc

Jax and Cheli are the same with being allergic to everything green. My new saying is that Jax is allergic to life.
