So, Gidget, the French Bulldog, Olivia, Wilson and I made the usual weekend morning run to Starbucks: Spartan Square. I headed down Main St. towards Green Hill Park. As I pulled up at a stoplight next to an older man on a John Deere tractor pulling a hay rake, he looks over and without batting an eye says "You're dog poor, ain't ya?" I smile and nod. He proceeds to cram a wad of chewing tobacco in his mouth (if you're picturing bib overalls you are correct). He looks back over and says "They are right pretty." I smile and nod and give him a wave when the light turns green.
