I've generally just been using Instagram for photos lately, but these were just too good. Ellie decided to stand on my guitar (perfect photo op for me ) yesterday.



And also on the park bench.



I can't get over the fact that she'll be a year old soon. It goes so fast! She still acts like a puppy so much it's hard to believe she's fully grown. Plus she's only 17 lbs. I'm hoping her future sibling will be small too - we'll be happy with anything but I think she'd want someone her own size!

Cute! I think that's one of my favorite things about frenchies so far.... they seem to always act like puppies... at any age!! Playing never gets old with them!

I do believe that frenchies stop growing at around 9 months of age... but then they start to fill out and bulk up and don't actually fully mature until the age of 2. Someone correct me if I'm wrong but that's what I have read!

When are you getting another pup? Another frenchie?? Are you going to the same breeder?

And yes, I couldn't help myself - we've been looking at puppies and will probably end up with one around March or April as long as all goes well. Not from the same breeder, but definitely a Frenchie! I still feel a bit guilty because of Ell but I think she'll actually enjoy it.

Don't feel guilty!! She will love having a sibling. I love having 2 frenchies. She might seem reluctant at first but that won't last... trust me!! That is so exciting!

Thank you everyone!

She really makes me laugh with the things she does. And that guitar and her - there has been a few times where she'll go over and hit the strings with her paws - much to my amusement! There is something about this breed; if they know something makes you laugh, they will do it more!

And I am really looking forward to next year and maybe having two! Brindles are my favorite but I am looking at the fawns with the masks because I love them too. As I said before I wish they could be from the same breeder, but they don't seem to breed very often. And also I want to be able to take Ella to meet the puppies if it's possible. I guess we'll see!
