7 yr old with chasing fly syndome

Does anyone have any experience with their frenchie chasing a fly that isn't there. My dog has been doing that and barking. I went to ER they think it's behavior and gave me Gabapentin and Trazodone. I think it is some kind of seizure and will make an appointment with neurologist as soon as I can get in. I was wondering if anyone else experienced this.

My bulldog did this but it was related to a tail pocket issue. You’re right in going to a neurologist this type of behavior at his age , he needs to be checked for any type of neurological condition
