Greetings, I have a 14 month old female French Bulldog, Simone. I came home today from work and there was bloody diarrhea (luckily) all over her "pet loo" ... Which is where she usually only goes pee (I live in an apartment). It looks like she went 5-6 times within 5-6 hours. She usually has 2 solid bowel movements per day like clockwork, and only during walks. She also vomited 3-4 times... First few were her food, then a few rounds of yellowish foam. And now she isn't eating. This is the first time she has not wanted to eat her food, and the first time she's had the stool issue.

She eats high quality Acania dog food, never table scraps.

Any ideas?? (ps I'm new here) thanks!

Is it possible she has a parasite? Since she is vomiting you should not give her any food for 24 hours and then start her on a bland diet. Maybe take a stool sample to the vet and get a fecal test done.

She may just have a stomach bug, or could have some type of parasite, and could even be an obstruction. I would not let her eat tonight and see how she id in the morning. If she is sick through the night and in the morning, I would take her to the vet. If she gets a little better tonight, then just feed her a bland diet for a day or two.

Agreed, sounds like a possible obstruction.

Hi all, thanks for you advice! Had problems with my account here, so I had to create a new one.

Simone update: She is fine now, I discovered that she snuck into the spare bedroom, and found the camping supplies... she got a hold of an old badminton shuttlecock... the kind with real feathers! She ate at least half the feathers, and the red ball at the end was nowhere to be found. This had me even more worried. I took her to the afterhours emergency, and had X-rays done. There was no blockage, so that was a relief.

They gave her an anti vomit shot, and some antibiotics to help with her stool consistency. I put her on the bland diet for 2 days, and now she seems pretty much back to normal. What a relief!

Thanks again for all the advice guys
