We got our frenchie 3 days ago (11 weeks old), everything has been going well, but today when we came home and put her down on the floor, she was playing with her stuffed soccer ball and just started limping and yelping a tad, once we got her off her feet and examined her she did not wince in pain from the touch, the limb extends just fine, no indication of pain when moved or touched, but she cannot/will not put weight on it, and falls over when she tries.
Have a vet appointment for 8am, just wanted any advice until then, like how to handle her bathroom needs while limiting her mobility.

I would bring her out on a leash so she doesn’t start running around and then crate her when she’s inside until you get to the vet tomorrow.

I agree with Citty... calm and leashed until she is checked out. Could be nothing, but better to be precautious

I agree.

Welcome to FBN and congratulations on your new baby!

Good luck. Hope it is something minor.

Any news after seeing the vet? Hope it wasn't anything too troubling.

Her appointment is friday afternoon it was the soonest they could get us in. The leg in question she stopped limping on but then tried to jump into a chair and landed on her other back leg and is now refusing to put weight on that one like before but with a different leg, I am having trouble keeping her immobile, and crating her is just a non stop cry and whine fest, as she is still very young. Suggestions?

An you gate her in a room with no furniture? Prevent jumping?

She is confined to my bedroom at this point yes, what happened was my son was outside with her and took his eye off her for a moment and she decided to try some acrobatics, I am learning you can't take your eyes off these pups for a split second.

She was able to go potty outside this morning, she just didnt put any weight on the leg, we see the vet tomorrow at 2pm.

Has anyone else had this sort of issue with frenchie pups?

I would definitely keep her confined and only out. After Jax's recent surgery and near the end of the recovery he did not want to be in the crate anymore so we would tether his harness/leash to the kitchen table so he was not in the crate but he still couldn't jump and run around.

No weight might be an acl issue, but leash potty no walks or steps till you see the vet

She ended up with a fracture in 3 spots in her lower leg, shes got a splint for a month so far.

Sorry to hear about the fracture, but it's good to know exactly what's wrong.

Hope she has a smooth healing and recovery period.

Oh wow...any idea how that happened? It’s good you have an answer now.

She tried to jump onto a plastic chair and fell back onto her leg with her bodyweight, they gave her a splint and wrapped it up and said we come in once a week to have it changed and re positioned.
She is also on pain/swelling liquid oral medicine for 1 week.

Keeping her calm will be the hardest
