Hello! Is our frenchie too small?

I have a question, I found a puppy that has health tested parents, is full akc, comes from what seems to be a good reputable breeder. When we went to go see her she was smallest and the only female we were told she should be around dams weight 18-19 pounds. We got out 6 week update picture today and she is soo tiny we became a bit concerned. We are wanting to breed, and were wondering if her size would keep us from being able to. If so we may be having to look for a new girl. I attatched pics of her at 4 weeks, 5 and 6.

I found this chart for reference and realize weight ranges may be considered differently elsewhere.

Cute pup, but she does look petite.



Since you plan to breed, maybe a different puppy would put your mind at ease.

I would think she would have more problems as a breeder than a bigger dog. My Frenchie is about 33 pounds, and in her prior life before I got her as a rescue dog was a backyard breeder who whelped her pups naturally.
