[MENTION=1082]elvee[/MENTION] Wow I'm so sorry for what you and your baby are going through. Fish had it for 3 weeks and it was brutal on us I can only imagine what 8 months feels like. What I speculated was the cause, was a viral infection in his lower intestine, only suspecting infection because of his white blood cell count being high. Maybe he has a severe allergy? Fish eats Orijen puppy and has had 0 issues since.

Did you get the problem solved. I have a 6 month frenchie and he is having the same issues.
Please can you help. My vet is suggesting a colonoscpoy.

Has your vet tested for Giardia & Coccidia?
Giardia requires a specific test that can actually capture those parasites, other parasite tests can miss Giardia.

Parasites and infection are the first thing that comes to mind with blood in the stool.

My boy had parasites and it took a solid 6 months of medicating to get rid of the blood/issues.

If it's not that (and you have had the proper tests), what are you feeding? It could be the food.

only other thing I can thing of is stress...

I have the same problem with my Frenchie I have taken her to the vets and they have no worry I hope it is down to stress with us only having for 6 weeks and changing her food.
