Quella's Graduation

[Calle Roo]

Quella graduated 8 weeks of Puppy 101 today through Dog House Training in Phoenix, AZ.

She learned and can comprehend and 'mostly' demonstrate:

Sit
Down
Wait
Stay
Off
Walk and Sit
Emergency command 'NOW!'
OK (Release)

Quella has been doing so well with her sit, down and stay. I've even been able to go in a different room and she waits roughly 10-30 seconds for me to come back and release. I usually reward her with her breakfast and dinner, but all training throughout the day is done w/o treats.. just a simple "good job" and head rub. Below is simple, yet fun and everyone thinks it's adorabull when she shows off her skills to them.

That was cute. She's so smart.

Isabelle is learning "give paw" and she knows sit, down, and speak.

I'm going to try to train her a "long down" where she lays in one spot til I release her for 30 minutes.

That will be interesting, but I think it will really benefit her, and she won't have to stay in her cage when visitors are over, she can just lay down!

Congrats to the two of you any thoughts about the next class we are in our second class and are loving it we learned heel last class and have 4 more to go
Not sure if we will sign up for more, will have to wait and see.

Quella is doing great! Obedience is a great thing for dogs. It reinforces your Alpha position, which makes them more relaxed, and it's good exercise for their mind.

She's such a good lil thing. Trying to teach mine to stay now. They are such smart little dogs. Not to mention problem solvers (most of the time for mischief)
