Salmon Oil

Hey guys! Just wanted to share with you all that I started putting salmon oil in our dogs food.....

First of all THEY LOVE IT! Banksy used to be so picky and now he will eat right away... which is so nice

Second of all!!!!!!! His fur is getting so soft and shiny!

Thirdly he has no more eye boogers!

We have just been giving Aiko a tiny bit and she's still very young and soft anyway so haven't noticed too much with her but the differences in Banksy have just been so amazing!

I highly recommend salmon oil for anyone who hasn't tried it yet for their doggies

I haven't tried it yet, but we use organic coconut oil. My dogs are obsessed! Isabelle is a picky little brat so I would doubt if she would even touch her food with that on it.

But T is a pig, he'd eat anything.
(Of course he is as soft as an agora rabbit so it wouldn't improve much I don't think...)

LOL I just googled agora rabbit and got quite the laugh!

We tried coconut oil and it make Banksys poop runny!! Glad it works for you though! I use coconut oil for everything! It would be nice to not have to buy extra stuff just for them (salmon oil) but they love it and I love them so I don't mind

Mine are the opposite right now, Aiko will eat whatever you give her and Banksy is such a food snob. Also he needs my boyfriend and I both to be present or he won't eat. Seriously... he makes me laugh

I use coconut oil for my boys because fish oil gives my EB extra stinky gas!

I found that it helped Wally's coat as well! He always had a great coat of fur but with the salmon oil it's extra shiny. Same with Uma who used to get dandruff. I buy wild BC Salmon oil.

That is definitely something I will look into.

It's funny that Blushy mentioned T being as soft as a bunny. Twiggy is really soft too, which surprised me because with their short hair, it doesn't look like it would be soft. We were on vacation recently and several people that wanted to pet Twiggy commented on how soft she was. I guess they also didn't expect a short haired dog to be that soft.
